Nice to meet you! My name is Liesbeth Tatjana but in my day to day life I go by the name Tanja. I was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Currently I live with my partner and my dog in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
How did I start making art?
Drawing is something I have always done as long as I can remember. As a kid I wanted to draw my own characters that would fit in to my favorite anime’s and video games. My Dutch grandparents had this beautiful secretaire desk where I would sit and come up with stories for these characters and draw them out.
Once the internet became more accessible I found a lot of mutuals online. This is also how I discovered digital art and the massive online art community that already existed at the time. It only took me a few weeks of frustratedly drawing in MS Paint with a mouse before I begged my parents to get me my first Wacom tablet for my 13th birthday. Ever since, I have never looked back.
Why traditional art?
